Books and Movies Empty
PostSubject: Books and Movies   Books and Movies EmptySat 19 Sep 2009, 12:06 pm

To me it seems people with Asperergers mostly like the same movies and books as each other, so i was just wondering what movies/books do you/the person you know with aspergers like the most.
for instance my top 5 are

1.Lord of the Rings trilogy (movies and books)
2. Pirates of the Carribbean trilogy
3.Hardy Boys (books)
4.Eragon (books and movie)
5.Rangers Apprentice (books)

I have to say, Alex isn't really into movies yet, he's too fidgety to sit down that long! lol, but then he is only 6.
We did watch the new version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory together though!

Ok, Alex's top 5.

1. Roald Dahl (Books)
2. Wipeout (TV)
3. National Lottery (TV)
4. Strictly Come Dancing (TV)
5. Top Gear (TV)

Oscar hates any films with fighting in and won't entertain any explosions because he gets too concerned over any possible broken numbers.

His favourite films are:

Wall E
Batteries Not Included (my ancient influence!)
Aristocats
Cars
Garfield

TV:
Numberjacks
Countdown
University Challenge
Deal Or No Deal
Eggheads

He doesn't really pay any attention to the questions in the quiz shows, he just likes to watch the score, same with Weakest Link and Millionaire.

Books:
Anything by Roald Dahl (he's like a walking dictionary of the nonsense words!)
The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Blue Bear though he hasn't read it, he just likes to skip to the bits where the illustrations are like mazes.
Think of a Number by Johnny Ball
The "I Wonder Why" series of non-fiction books
The Numberjacks Annual.
